Question:

Why are my muscles aching?

At the moment my muscles (particularly in my back) are really sore. I'm not sick (I hope) and I haven't done anything strenuous so I don't know why. Could it just be caused by stress? And what can I do to ease it?

  1. Stress will make muscles tense & painful. Also, if you haven't worked out in a while, they will tighten up & cause you pain as well. Use a heating pad or blanket if you have it, take a warm bath, or put any kind of raw beans (pinto, etc) & place them in a sandwich bag for a few seconds in the microwave, 'til they're warm. Keep it on your back for a little while & try moving your body around slowly.

One more thing...lol...get a washcloth, wet it, wring it out & place in microwave for a few seconds, put it on your back. If too wet, you can put it in a sandwich/ziplock bag.

Yoga will really help you stretch out your muscles, especially your back. Take care of yourself.

  2. Ok if you have been staying still like lazing around alot i know you can get back pains and knots from that. The best thing to do is have a massage or have a nice warm relaxing bath and not sit down the whole day lol

  3. energy usage is what i would gues...
