Why are my muscles out of wack?

Last night, I was stretching and I could not stop stretching my arm muscles it was like a habit like cracking my knuckles. Or like a crack heads itch. It was really weird, like right now I feel it coming on. I'm on Prozac for my panic attacks, but I don't believe that would have anything to do with it. What do you think it is?

  1. Hi,

If you feel a panic attack or feelings of anxiety creeping up on you then try this word repetition technique that I learned that helps me to quickly 'snap out' of my panic attacks:

I simply repeat the words 'cream cake' over and over in my head as quickly as I can without stopping.    You could use any word or words you like really but that's what I chose (because I like cream cakes).  It apparently works because it doesn't give your brain time to process the panicky thoughts and so helps you to relax again.  Seems strange I know ... but it works for me!

There's also a free ebook that I found really useful called 'Get Rid of Panic and Anxiety for Good'. If you want to take a look you can find it at: http://curepanicattacks.premiergold.info...    Even though I got it for free it has helped me absolutely loads!

  2. Possibility that you are experiencing muscle spasm that borders on cramp. Might help to take a liquid magnesium supplement like Natural Calm, a powdered drink mix available at health food stores. Also might want to take a liquid trace mineral supplement. It won't hurt and could help.

Akathisia, that is inner tension, restlessness, and the inability to stay still, often accompanied by "constant pacing, purposeless movements of the feet and legs, and marked anxiety," is a common side effect of fluoxetine.
