Question:

Why are my parents ashamed of me?

they're constantly telling me that they're ashamed to have me as a daughter, that I bring shame down on them.

they're extremely religous. and they're homeschooling me in a foreign country for the next two years (junior/senior year).

I think it's because they found out I have guy friends. I mean - what's wrong? my parents see me so much as talking to a guy and they theaten to beat me up. jesus christ, it's not like I have s*x, h**l I've only ever kissed one guy, when I was 14.

I have an open personality, I have a liberal view on things, and my parents hate that too.

I don't understand this....and it hurts so badly knowing that they think I shame them.

  1. i dont why they are ashamed of you i think they are crazy you arent doing anything wrong ok so dont listen to them

  2. nobody is ashamed of their children, ever! there is no such parent that might not love the kid at all. relax, they just want you to get as religious as they are. times change. they didn't kiss when they were 14 and can't get it why you would and will never , ever, understand that, just don't even try. you know you're right, you know they're wrong, and you know they don't really mean it, so just relax ! :--)

  3. just  tell  them
