The leaves have been green this whole time. And now the purple has taken over 3 stems. Am I doing anything wrong?

  1. If these leaves appear to be very red to burgundy its a phenomenon that sometimes occurs. Its just the way some roses produce new growth at a certain time of year.As the leaves mature they will turn green. More often than not red roses produce this color phenomenon. So that said I would wait to see if they do change to green as they mature. If not then you may have a fungus..downy mildew..it can causes purple spots on upper leaves...or magnesium deficiency can cause purple discoloration on leaves... Hope this helps
