There is no sign of disease, I have no idea what kind they are, just bought them from walmart a few years ago, could it be the heat? We have changed nothing..still watering it the same, etc. Thanks

  1. they like sun and water also trim them back

  2. I suspect it has something to do with your soil. Take a sample to your local nursery and ask them to test the alkalinity for you. If you don't feel like doing this try a little Epson Salts mixed into the soil. This sometimes helps roses to flower.

  3. Roses are heavy feeders.  Have you given them a healthy dose of fertilizer this spring?  Also, if you prune back a rose bush it promotes the growth of new stems.

  4. Roses require a lot of sun. If they are planted in a less than full sunny area...this might be the reason. You also can try some fertilizer. I saw that Miracle Grow has a special type for Roses.

  5. some roses only bloom one time a year....those are usually spring bloomers....

do you have the NAME of the rose?... you could look that up to find out.....

others bloom one big time , usually thru May and June, and then slow way down during the heat of summer and start up again in cooler days of fall....

if the bush looks healthy, your care is good... now you just need patience....and to look up the name of it!!...
