Why are my songs listed in ITunes but won't play?

I tried to transfer my music from my PSP by dragging the files and dropping them directly into Itunes. All the files I dropped are listed, but now when I try to play them, it says "file not found." Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you'vee recently moved your music folder then that is the problem. itunes is still looking for the original location for the songs and cant find them. You have to either replace the folder towheree it was orre syncc the songs to the appropriate location.

It can't find its source where it came from. Your only option is to put all of your songs back on.

Piece of advice: When you rip music to any media player, make sure protection for music is turned off. This way, you can share your music files with anything. Protection of music files prevents it from being played on other sources. Hope this helps!
