Why are my tomato plant stems hollow? they are dieing any way to save them?

  1. If its a borer and it sounds like it.  Cut back on the stems of the plant and see if you can get to where it isn't hollow, then you're ahead of the borer.  Hopefully the patient won't die from the operation and you'll still get some tomatoes.


  2. sounds like a borer, look for a point of entry and frass( a fancy name for borer p**p)
