Why are non technical people answering questions in the 'computers and internet' section?

Just like this last Q, a girl has a prob with her SD memory card, and someone replies with a stupid 'get a new card'.

Why waste the time?

cause sometimes non tech people comes up with great idea's lol buying a new sd memory card is much easier than fixing the problem hahahaha

Obviously, for the points. However, not all problems in the computer need a technician. Sometimes it just needs common sense and proper thinking

what is more annoying is when you get a thumbs down for a decent answer and the idiot that says something to the effect of "vista sucks!!!!"  gets 5 thumbs up.
