He got drilled with a pitch today and everyone cheered.

That's disgusting to me.

  1. That's the fans and I don't know why

I'm not a Yankees fan, but I respect that he is a good player.

No one should cheer for something like that

  2. i thought it was pretty distasteful myself. I can understand the feud between the 2 teams and i love the rivalry and i know it would have happened in yankee stadium but does anyone else see that all this goes down at fenway? Pedro vs Don Zimmer. I think this is what makes the two teams hate eachother even more. I just hope A-rod can bounce back and be all right he looked a little shook up by it. But i gurantee ponson will hit a red sox tomorrow. Thats a pretty much gurantee with girardi he doesnt mess around like torre did. He will send his message loud and clear.

  3. Because of their jealousy of the best player in the game today.

    Simple.

  4. Because he plays in New York.

  5. I'm a huge yanks fan along with arod fan and reason they cheered because he was in Boston. red sox formed hug rivalry with yanks. and a lot of people hating on arod cause of his money and all that.

  6. Jealousy, what else?  Highest paid player, best player in the planet and plays for the Yankees (although I'm a Yankee hater).  Go Dodgers!!

  7. because every team wishes they had a player of his caliber,

    plain and simple.

Also because Red Sox fans are classless and moronic

  8. cause he was in boston and he's the classic yankee who was grown somewhere else and once he was good they draded for him.

  9. I do not like him, but i agree completely with you. I think it was horrible of the fans to cheer when he could've (and very well might be) injured. The pitch was 97 miles per hour. That easilly could break his hand. I'm glad it didn't hit him in the head. It could've been much worse.

  10. because he is truly an a**hole. Cheats on his wife, is stuck up to fans. He feels he's above everybody else both in the game and outside of it. He's truly just a huge peice of sh*t.

  11. Cause he just goes where the money is. Some people don't like that.

  12. Because they're jealous messes.

  13. They're in Boston, what the h**l did you expect?

  14. I don't think it is jealousy.  People just don't like him.

Josh Hamilton is one of the top players this season and people cheer him wherever he is.

  15. .........thats only in Boston, and they're "classless."

  16. Why? because A-rod is da best hitter? maybe..

  17. Another classless display from the fenway faithful.

  18. Trust it a whole dilemma thing and if your up to date with he Yankees and Red Sox you would know

  19. Red Sox fans are jealous. Simple as that.

  20. No class, poor sportsmanship. But hats off to A-rod who responded, "No and that's it." when he was asked if he thought the pitch was intentional. Thats sportsmanship and classy.
