  1. Cuz if you run a red light or run through a toll booth, the camera can't take a picture of your plates and they wont be able to give you a ticket.

  2. This depends on the state in which the vehicle is registered.

If it is legal in the state where it is registered to only have a rear plate, it is legal in every state.  It would be unreasonable to have a judge require you to conger up a second license plate if you were only issued 1 plate for the back.

Some stated did this as a cost savings measure.  It is nearly impossible to get a license number from the front plate of an oncoming vehicle.  So some states decided they are not worth the added expense.

I live in a town that is on the Wisconsin / Michigan state line.  Wisconsin issues and requires a license plate on the front and rear of your vehicle.  Michigan issues and requires only one plate mounted on the rear of the vehicle.

  3. Good grief....aside from the no smoking ban there...the place is so granola i am surprised that they only charged you that much....i loathe Colorado.
