I will never understand that.I am a first time mom and yes I am still learning.I just will never understand why people get so mad and attack you when you do not see things their way.Or you don't understand why certain things are recommended.I mean,if it is something you know a new mom needs to know, would it kill you to say it nicely?I mean aren't we all just trying to raise our kids and learning as we go?

  1. I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I love that people are opinionated... but at the same time, nothing you can say (or scream) at me will change my views.

If you ask a question about circumsision or breastfeeding... so many people just start nagging. It's ridiculous!

  2. I saw your question on the well baby visits. I had severe allergies to MMR and Polio vaccines- temporary paralysis. I have given them to my daughter because it is rare. I don't want her to get any of those diseases, but I watched out for reactions. They are not always as safe as people think. Even if you don't want vaccines, it is good to have a doctor check them out.

  3. I understand that.  I'm a first timer (he's 3 years old now), and I nearly lost my mind right after I had him, living with my mother in law.  Even locked myself in the bathroom one night over him going to bed.

When it comes down to it, listen to you heart (you know you're a good mom, even if you're new and their opinions do not matter), and if you need advice, seek it from someone that you think you can trust will talk to you without being an a-hole.  And good luck.  xD
