Why are our roads full of German built motor cars?

Having just watched for the umpteenth time the film 'The Battle of Britain' why are our roads full of cars built by relatives of the people who had every intention of flattening all our cities and kill all our unarmed men women and children. Why do we give these car workers a better living than our own by buying these cars?

Simple - their cars are much better than the c**p we produce

German cars are well built so people excersise their coice and buy them. Rover failed because they were cr*p cars. End of story.

aston martin- ford

Half of my English and Irish mates work in car factories in Germany - and they make excellent cars.

The world has changed - I suppose you would buy a Japanese car without thinking twice about how many they killed in the war?

I work for a French company in Germany that makes equipment for England. Does that make me a n**i collaborator?

Just browse through all the car problems on Yahoo Answers. They all begin with my Vauxhall, my Ford, my Rover, my Renault, ect. The list goes on.

Germans killed people, Japanese killed people, Italians killed people, French killed people, Americans killed people, Brits killed people...in short EVERY country has killed some people.  So why do we buy cars from all these countries? Answer: supply and demand and the human's never ending desire for new things.  So why German? Simple, their cars are superior to cars built from other countries.  We always want the "best" things and for cars it happens to be Germany.

british cars are rubbish, German cars are quality build.  Comparison simply should be Rover against BMW, what would you rather have?  I have a Rover, they are c**p, I wish I had a BMW

Quality. Germany's cars are popular for their quality. For example, the Volks Wagen beatle (the old one) was the most produced car in history, (I think they made it for over 60 years).
