  1. Peanut butter is considered meat?  On what planet is a peanut an animal?

  2. Actually peanut butter and milk really isn't meat it is an animal product which would mean you are a Vegan if you don't eat them, people are vegetarians because they feel it is not right to kill animals for meat, as for milk and stuff like that there is no need to kill the animal. I'm not a vegetarian im just guessing why they don't

  3. I don't eat animals because I don't like the idea and it's not necessary. That's about it.

Huh? Is a peanut an animal?

No, I don't like processed cheese and I don't drink milk.

    What's your point?

  4. Peanut butter isn't a meat. And vegetarians don't necessarity avoid dairy products like vegans do.

I'm a vegetarian out of respect for all the animals killed just to be eaten. It hurts our environment (do a google search on water/grain/land use needed to sustain cattle alone). It is also my personal tribute to my Italian Greyhound who was split in half by a speeding car. Moving him off the road and seeing his intestines hanging out made me vow to never harm another animal again by eating it. They are beings with feelings, just like us. Hope this helps.

  5. peanut butter is not a meat babe xoxo

and also i dont drink milk i am a vegan

  6. There is nothing wrong with vegatarians , everyone always juges us !

There are different kinds of vegatarians ! Some eat dairy products some dont , some eat eggs , some dont , some eat sea food some dont ! People do it to lose weight , because its crule to kill animals when we can just eat plants ! And peanut butter isnt an animal DUHHHHH ! hope that helped u , i didnt want to be rude , dont be affended !

  7. I don't know where you're getting your information - although you use the so-called "meat" of the nut to make peanut butter, peanuts are certainly not considered animals. Maybe you're confused about this word usage?

Some drink milk, some don't. Vegans don't.

I eat processed cheese. It's made of milk which is fermented in certain ways and flavored.

  8. Peanut butter isn't a meat and I don't really know why you said that...

    I'm a vegetarian for 3 reasons:

    1. I don't like to kill animals

    2. Meat kind of grosses me out

    3. I think the most important reasons are environmental reasons... Factory farming is a really inefficient way to feed humanity... it takes 3-15 lbs of grain to produce one single pound of beef. Rainforests are being cleared at an incredible rate for farmland to provide the growing global demand for beef.

  9. I dont think penut is a meat, im a vegitarian, i drink milk, i dont eat anything that was living, some people call them selves vegitarians and still eat fish or chicken, i dont eat anything that was alive, ....everyone has a diffrent reasons for being a vegitarian, me, i dont like putting dead things in my mouth, i find it a lil creepy

  10. Peanut butter is made from peanuts. Peanuts are not animal products. I eat peanut butter because it's delicious, and because it's not an animal product. No, I do not eat processed cheese, because I am a vegan. Yes, some vegetarians drink milk, because animals don't have to be killed for milk. Unfortunately, on factory farms, dairy cows are tortured and eventually slaughtered, and their male babies are killed for veal, so I don't drink milk. Seriously, learn to type sentences correctly. Learn the difference between legumes and animal flesh. Then post your question.

  11. so thay dont kill animals i aam sorta a vegetarians

  12. why not? and since when is peanut butter a meat?

  13. I dont get why people are vegetarians either.  When you eat meat the animal is already dead.  When you eat vegetables the cells in them are still alive until your stomach acids kill them to death.  You are actually torturing the cells more than you are the animal.

  14. For the same reason why people do the things they do... because they can..

You will see or read a variety of reasons.. It really doesn't matter..the most important thing is they have the right to choose and they are simply exercising that right

  15. I just decided to for one simple reason - I don't like meat! That's all. Just don't like the taste.

And peanuts are not meat. They are a NUT.

*EDIT* Oh for Heaven's sake who cares....nut/legume whatever the point is that they aren't MEAT. Gosh. FYI, in the vernacular, many people refer to peanuts as "nuts". What are you, the legume police exsft?!

  16. Okay, umm, peanut butter is NOT meat nor have I every heard anybody call it meat.  Secondly, vegans are the ones who choose not to eat or drink any animal byproducts, like milk and cheese, not vegetarians.  Most vegetarians eat dairy products but don't eat meat.

  17. Because it is healthier, and shows compassion to animals.

How is peanut butter a meat?

Or milk, or cheese? They are products that come from cows, but they do not actually contain cow

This is the definition of meat:

    1. The flesh of animals as used for food.

    2.     The edible flesh of animals, especially that of mammals as opposed to that of fish or poultry.

    3.      The flesh of animals (including fishes and birds and snails) used as food.

    From dictionary.

  18. There are because! they don't wanna get Fat lol

    =)

  19. What animal does peanuts come from?

  20. That's a very good question! But the answer is that peanut butter is not a meat. They put peanuts and peanut butter in the meat section on a food pyramid, because peanut butter is high in protein, so is meat. Milk is not meat and neither is cheese. Vegans are the people who don't eat meat or meat byproducts, which are milk, cheese, and basically any dairy.

    Hope I helped! :]

  21. I'm a  Lacto vegetarian. i think most people become vegeterians in order to be a bit healthier.I'm a vegeterian because of the way meat is processed its just not very healthy and its gross. Also the companies that process all the meat products are not being very kind to the environment.  by the way Peanut butter is not meat.
