  1. I don't understand it, either.  JPM's very talented and I love his sense of humor.  Hopefully, people will warm up to him eventually.

He doesn't seem to get booed as much as he did when he first came to NASCAR.  Another driver is enjoying that privilege right now.  lol

  2. He has a horrible attitude!! He is RUDE on & off the track!!! Why can't us Americans keep one sport ours???  That has nothing to do with being raciest!!! Foreigners take over everything!! & This is how I feel & I don't care if people like my 2 cents!! Too Bad Freedom of speech!!!!

    ***edit***

AMERICAN REDNECK & PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Lord for being a red neck!!!!!!!!!

  3. cuz he is not a true red neck: ?

  4. I don't know, but it fits the stereotype of a redneck sport to be prejudice or at least afraid of change.

  5. Because he is rude/disrespectful driver!! & To the jerk about rednecks, I thank god I am a redneck! & I agree why does it have to be raciest?? Why do you have to pull that card?? He is just a jerk! I am a redneck American & proud!!!!!!!!!

  6. Racists have a one track mind Sebastian.  They'll dream up any propoganda in their worthless, uneducated and mindless self defense such as the attitude, arrogance and American only sport nonsense.  Some of those people need to check their family roots.  He's no different then most the other drivers in fact I like his sense of humor and he's accomplished what most the guys out their only dream of.  I still think some people are angry because Harvick backed down from him like a sissy last year.

  7. let's face it nascar is a southern born sport started in the south by moonshiners. They dont take to kindly to outsiders. It was the same for Jeff Gordon when he arrived in nascar

  8. i dont think so, i think its that they know that he is the best, but seriously i have not seen as much critisism on jpm as other drivers like rowdy or smoke, they probably dont like his aggresive style as much as me and other jpm fans.

    hooray a fellow jpm fan

juan pablo montoya 2008 coca cola 600 champ

  9. i dont understand because nascar needs a driver like him who races all out every lap i dont understand hes a great driver with great talent i mean try putting jeff gordon going 250 mph around monoca

  10. i really don't have a problem with him but maybe it is the same reason why people have a problem with toyota, NASCAR is supposed to be the All-American type races and yet they are not all american... just trying to give a reason why people may hate him, i don't hate him but i don't like him either

  11. wow i cant belive some of these answers especialoly that dale jr>3 loser chick!  we dont want dam mexicans ??? wow what a retarded ******! jpm is okay not my favorite driver, dont really care one way or the other for him but hes good. you dont race f1 cars if you suck.. i think if he had better equipment he probably would be a multi winner by now, but you will always have retards in the sport like the beer can throwing hillbillies out there.

    go 99!

  12. Funny when someone who is not white is not liked people ask "Racism?" That is such a cop out. I don't care for him because of his attitude when he came in. Now that he is getting his butt kicked, he's calmed down a bit. He's getting better.

  13. Because he's an arrogant !@#$ and is overrated by the media.

  14. Not race,  lot of fans dont like him because his attitude.  thinking that he was hot sheet in IRL that he was gonna be the same in NASCAR.  Not so much....hes getting better though.   I have no problem with hiim being in the sport. I think its great.

  15. No Racism involved...he came to the sport with attitude, thinking he was the best of the best..but when he could not measure up to the others drivers performance..he gave more attitude..now that he has calmed down and beginning to understand that to get respect..u give respect and that is going to make him a better driver.

To the comments about "redneck" and "haters"..please we are Fans no matter what background we come from, this is America!,,Land of Opportunity and Freedom???

  16. I think that was more last season than this season.  He was pretty agressive and wreckless before he settled in.  This year he's doing pretty good.  Plus, we have a few more "immigrants" from the open wheel racers who are struggling this year...Hornish, Franchitti, and Carpentier.  Why blame it on racism?  they are  "foreign" to NASCAR, no matter where they are from.  Was there racism when Tony Stewart "immigrated" to NASCAR?   NOOOOO!!!!!
