Why are people attracted to "Crush videos"?

This is probably THE most disturbing REAL LIFE horror story I have come across.

For those not initiated, a crush video is a video of an attractive, scantily clad woman usually in stockings with high heels, crushing poor, defenseless animals.

An article I just read, with disturbing photos attached, shows an Asian woman with stiletto heels steeping through the kittens skull.

Question: WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS? Apparantly this has been going on for ages, I am distraught over this article, and I feel like I need to do something. What is the attraction?!

We (all of us) are now so far removed from the natural world that most do not care. When was the last time that you touched a tree? This removal from nature will be our downfall. We should al 'get out more' and feel nature. The way the world is going or has gone is $hit.
