Why are people bieng killed in Darfur? What does the government and Jinjaweed hace against the people?

I know what is going on, I just don't know why the government is aiming to kill all these people.

The government is radical islamists.  The people they are killing are Christians and animists who refuse to continue to be oppressed.  Sudan once hosted OBL, until he got too risky to host.

African warlords have a habit of killing people.  Yes, that's all they are, warlords.  This is a tribal thing.  Why doesn't the West get involved?  One can't get involved in the politics of killing unless one kills the aggressors.  That would mean getting involved in a civil war.
