Why are people blaming Cena for his moveset, gimmick and character when it is down to Vince how he gets used?

Gimmick and character are up to Vince. His moveset isn't, but movesets don't even matter anyway.

Many fans were just frustrated with his "super" Cena title reign in 07 and thus targeted Cena as he is the person with the gimmick that was shoved down our throats by WWE. I think its good that Cena is putting others over for example Dibiase and Batista pinned him. How often did he get pinned in 07 ?
