  1. IDK, they're worried?

  2. Both the Democrats and Republicans are putting on a circus!

and the "4th estate" is buying it!

Abandon the Donkey and the Elephant!

    for REAL change

Vote for the NOT a Democrat and NOT a Republican

    Can

    U

    dig

    it?

  3. Good point.  She's been the executive of a state and a town.  He's never held executive office and barely has legislative experience.  The Dems can't carp at her lack of experience because their presidential candidate has less.  She has also achieved something as a reformer, whereas all he's done is talk about reform.

  4. Because they are.  This is not necessairly bad, though.

Sen. McCain knows what he is doing.  He has won elections before.

Gov. Palin was chosen because of her conservative views and because she is a woman.  Don't be shocked.

Sen. McCain's first goal is to get elected.  (Sen. Obama's first goal is to get elected.)  Sen. McCain thinks that Gov. Palin is the best man/woman to help him do this.  Very simple, isn't it.

Also.  Sen. McCain plans on being able to fulfill his duties as President for his complete 4-year term.

  5. I don't think many people understand what executive experience means, and how important it is

A governor is basically the 'president' of their state...They have the same responsibilities as a president (balancing budgets, raising/lowering taxes, approving or vetoing state bills, etcetera...They even have a 'cabinet'), just on a state level rather than federal...So she already does what a president does, just on a much smaller scale...That's why everyone points out her 'executive experience', which Obama, Biden and McCain (and even Hillary) do not have.

  6. Agreed and thank you for your posted question!

  7. Mona why don't you actually provide some  links to prove all that.

  8. The short answer is that the Democrats are DESPERATE to take the experience issue off the table.  The top of their ticket is a 143 day Senator, yet their claims only highlight their own weaknesses.

Biden's experience is lost on his extreme liberal views.  What good are his qualifications, when he has been wrong for 35 years on foreign policy?  That compounds his inadequacy.

  9. Ha ha.. is all I can say.. funny.. this repub mental turnaround move is hilarious.. If you believe this your crazy..

    1. For one Education counts for work experience.. Remember that on the employment application you filled out..

Palin - BA in Communications - Univ of Idawhoooooo

Obama - Doctorate in Law from Harvard University

She did nothing at the University... Obama the head of Harvard Law Review..

I am sorry unless you have a background in political science/pre-law.. you don't get vp spot...

and that Governor thing, yeah she has been there for only 18 months and already under investigation for abuse of power..

Atleast GWB was governor for two terms and didn't accomplish that..speaking of George what did he do for us as far as experience in running the white house he was a governor twice..

Don't sell this broad - cause she has no international experience or federal experience..

To make my point.. Obama has almost the same credentials of former Supreme Court member Thurogood Marshall one of the best the high court ever saw.. PLEASE...

  10. Sarah Palin? Here's some basic background:

        * She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1

        * Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2

        * She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3

        * Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4

        * She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

        * She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.6

        * How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting a photo-op with her 5 kids. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.7

*She will shoot you with her AK 47.

*She crossed the line and interfered with law enforcement to attempted to have her ex brother in law fired. what happened is she got the boss that wouldn't fire him fired.

Sounds like more of the same with the lawyers Bush had tanked.

and some of your dates over lap.

    ======================================...

If you are going to include her public service. Include Obama's also. He started before law school.

  11. You forgot to mention his many years in volunteering to organize community efforts in Chicago.

A true leader for the people.

  12. In terms of experience here

    Governor > Senator

  13.   Obama was president of Harvard law school. So if I use the same dumbass logic that some conservatives are using, then it follows that he already has presidential experience. Now he is the most experienced candidate. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Population of Wasilia, Alaska? Mayor of a small town and two years as governor blows US and Illinois Senate out of the water? Besides, Joe Biden alone has more experience than the other presidential and VP candidates combined.

  15. Thet's very impressive, except for a few very big facts you omitted:

80% of Alaska's economy is Oil - given that big oil is handing us our rear end every time we fill up at the pump I would say Alaska and it's Governor have been getting some benefits at the expensive of everyday hard working people who are struggling to fill up their tank.

65% of Alaskan land is owned and managed by the Federal Government so one could argue that Palin has been getting some help.

The population of Alaska - the entire state, is 670,000 people. It ranks 48th in population out of 50 states.

The population of Wasilla is 6,500. My high school had 4,000 students in it when I went there, so by this logic my high school principal should be qualified to rock out and run a state or something!

The population of Illinois is 12 million, it ranks 5th in population out of 50 states. I need not go further, by volume of actual people in the state that he is representing Barack Obama has faced more, dealt with bigger issues, supported 18 times more people, and has more experience than all of Sarah Palin's experience combined....and last I checked there is no oil in Illinois so they sorta have to pay their own taxes there.

  16. No dude, she blows

    She has almost zero experience

Some say Obama has no experience, this should put that all to rest.

  17. I guess you can make anything look your way when you write it yourself. You left out Obama's Public Service but you included it in Palins? Interesting......

  18. Just like you libs to downplay Palin's accomplishments! For instance, you forgot to mention:

    * She has a B.A. degree from some college in Idaho

    * As Mayor of Wasilla she fought with a local dairy farmer to close down a creamery!

    * She won the Miss Wassila contest and also was crowned Miss Congeniality!

    * She's a member of the PTA

    * She was on some state commission relating to oil, for a year

There! No stop downplaying her accomplishments

  19. Sarah Palin is a looker...I will give her that...and I am sure a good Mother too...but I for one don't want an ultra conservative who is completely fervent in her own faith that she has no tolerence for others...this whole election has become about whose religion is what...I thought we were supposed to seperate church and state...I don't want my political leaders to be my priests or pastors...that is not what I elect them for...and she is wayyyyy to right wing in her beliefs to be of sound judgement when issues come to the table where a level head is required. McCain is much more level headed that way, but he just decided to flip flop on a lot of issues so he could get the repub. nomination and the supports of the right.
