Why are people emo ?

some say they wanna be different and thats fine but to the point where ppl make fun of u and think ur wierd, thats retarded

ppl who try to be emo are just trying to get attention but emo kids cut their self most say they are bi and even talk about killing them self, it is a problem at my school and some kids get sent home because of the cut marks on their arms.if u go to emo sites chat rooms and stuff they are talking about all of this dark stuff and none of it is good.

For some people it's just who they are.  But 95 percent of the "emo" crowd are just doing it to be cool.  It doesn't really matter any more though, emo is dying out
