A big cave in a hill of Anantnag district in Kashmir valley has been discovered recentlt by a TV channel which is very long going upo China even. Anybody going inside never came back, according to old records. That was closed by Maharaja Gulab Singh(Gulabu) of Kashmir in 19 th century(Gulabu was imposed as king on people by British on March 16, 1846 as per only 100 year hereditary rulership ). Many old stories are told but none explored scientifically. Who made that cave & how in pre-industrial era & how many people made them ? People may get entrapped perhaps due to shoratge of oxygen. What was the purpose of making that ? Now people bother about only Amarnath Cave, which is not very long too & already a continuous bloodbath resulted b coz of dirtiest possible politicisation of that too. I'm sure, that issue too wouldn't have blown out of proportion so much if there was no forthcoming general election in India after few months. Kashmir hills have many caves in which shepherds known as Bakkarwals live for ages & many have frozen snow too in different shapes in some seasons due to water dripping from cracks & freezing but Amarnath got importance due to it being of bell shaped lasting for 14 days. It is surprising why this long cave going upto Tibet of China remain unnoticed so long. How many people still have heard of it ?
