Why are people late for work?

My ex bf was always late to work and very where else as well.

I think it is because my ex bf was a very slow walker and takes a morning shower for an hour long and get dress like 5 minutes to put the clothes on him.

When he wakes up in the morning it takes him an 1 hour to get out of bed or like 2 hours.

Traffic.

I leave with plenty of time to get to work, as long as there are no accidents on the road.

I'm late occasionally because there is only one way for me to get to work.  If it backs up, what can I do?

the traffic was bad , the bus wasn't on time , flat tire , ran out of gas , bad hangover , got a little morning loving from the wife or husband

Couldn't find my car keys.

I hate my job.

My alarm didn't go off because I set it for PM time not AM time.

There was some dam funeral procession going through an intersection.

This interminable freight train was rolling through this intersection at about 2 miles an hour.

There was this accident on the freeway.

This idiot was stopped in the middle of the intersection and wouldn't move.

Grandpa was driving ahead of me and I couldn't get around him.
