As far as I can find out these are all there are;

Qualifications for the Office of President

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.

Term limit amendment - US Constitution, Amendment XXII, Section 1 – ratified February 27, 1951

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

If there are any other ones please tell me what they are.

    A  These are the absolute bare minmum requirements.  Otherwise known as qualifications.  after those are met then the qualifications unique to each individual that compose the life sum of experiences that are voted upon by the people to best lead under a paticular set of circumstances in a paticular frame of time.

  5. I agree, which makes Obama more then qualified. Bush wasn't qualified because he doesn't have a brain.

  6. here a bone to crunch on oh my lipsticked pit bull.

  7. GOOD POST.  Sock it to 'em! :-)

  8. Those are the technical qualifications, but people want someone who has an experience or good background and knows what they're doing.  They just some random dude who meets those requirements to run the country.

  9. What you are stating are requirements, not qualifications. Would you want someone to run your state who hasn't the slightest inkling of the performance of government.? An idiot or moron could fit the requirements but would you be satisfied that that is what will represent you? I DON'T THINK SO !
