Why are people mean when i tell them what i want my baby to be called

we are choosing the name Ashlee for our lil girl when shes born,

why do people associate it as a chavvy name lol

i dont know no chav called Ashlee,lol

and i certain am no chav myself lol

we have chosen the name mai for her middle name,

so her name would be Ashlee Mai Norman,

is there any other middle names that could go with the name Ashlee,

i used to be a semi-pro cheerleader and have worked with americans a few times so i know its a popular name in america,

but when i tell people the name here in england, they look at me strange and say things like "oh thats a boys name" and other things like that,

my partner picked the name, and i really like it,

its alot better than other names people pick for there children,

My names Tarina and ive grown up with people spelling it different all the time and it doesnt bother me :)

They is nothing wrong with the name Ashlee, some people can be cruel, but as long as you like the name go for it

I know what you mean, I want to name my son Tanner and people freaked out. Its your daughter and if you like the name Ashlee go for it. Its a good name.

Ashlee is a beautiful name. Mai is also real pretty! You know, Mai means beautiful in chinese, except its spelled mei but pronounced same.

Ashlee mai is beautiful and I love the spelling of both names. A name is only chavvy if you make it like that.
