Why are people on this site so mean??

Question

I post a question about doing a simple edit to my pictures like turning them black and white and the answers say stuff like "you are not good at photography if you edit your pictures"

Then I post any kind of question with my picture in it (like asking about hair or makeup advice) and they don't even answer the question instead the answesr are "your ugly, your fat, no hair could make you better, no makeup could make you look good...."

I mean why are people so mean to me on this site?? Thanks!!

Some people show their aggressive side when they can hide safely behind a computer screen.  These people are called "cowards."  Pay them no mind.

well i looked at the picture and I see that you have perfect skin and you wouldn't really need that much make up if any at all,usually when people see such a think they get jealous and make rude comments

Some people enjoy being mean to others because it make them feel important.

What most of the previous answers miss are the ages of these people.  A lot of kids are out there (unsupervised) putting down lame responses.

Of course there are the occassional all out geeks that get bored at work and can't get any further satisfaction than making fun of people since they've been made fun of their whole lives.

I admit I've posted some mean responses, but they are to some really lame questions that people should not have taken the time, electricity, or bandwidth to even bother posting.

eh, who knows? i just posted a question, and got slammed for it. in retrospect though, i probably didn't communicate the question the best way. oh well. i already had an answer (and it was sympathetic to me). my father was a letter carrier for 25 years and urged me to call the post office. i did, and the post master there was very sympathetic and explained that the mail dude was new and i could expect him to communicate with me tomorrow.

as for your question, i think that maybe some mascara, and a professional eyebrow waxing would help. a haircut would be good too. ask the stylist to 'thin it out' a bit and get some layers in there.

i have no idea why the people where being such *** holes.  you look amazing good for not having any make up on or anything.  and your hair isn't bad at all.

Some people are just like that. Rude, and disgusting. That happened to me on my last account, i cussed at them, and my account got deleted, and i would do it again, lol. In life, people are going to take hits at your confidence, hit you when you're down, and insult you. criticism can hurt sometimes, even make you cry.

I'll tell you how my mom says, when someone get you down, get up, and punch them out, lol. Even if you can't do that in cyber-space, just ignore them, don't get them any might by being upset, just ignore them

Don't let them get you down, you are your own person. You don't have to listen to them, and accept their critique ( unless it's aimed in a good way ). But when people like insult your photographer, and don't give you advice, just delete the answer, and get on with life.

Its because they have lower than average intelligence and they are easily bored. It also gives them bragging rights with their low brow friends i.e. "i dissed a bird on yahoo last night" Feel pity for these morons.

I agree with the other people who said that some like to hide behind the computer. 98% of the people who left a nasty remark would NEVER say it to your face. On here you got to let things roll of your back. (I need to take my own advice! Lately I have been getting into with people on here) Anyway  I looked at the girl, I don't think she is you, I think she is a sibling. I don't think she is ugly, of course I see the obvious flaws but I'm not going to dwell on them or point them out. But I do see her beauty.
