  1. Because we all need it and for any of you people that think its because of Pres. Bush please get over yourselves.  I am so tired of hearing it really I am.  Just pay for the gas and not everything can be justified in this world.

  2. Yeah, go ahead and strike.  See if anyone cares.

  3. You haven't traveled to Europe in the past several years have you? Americas price for fuel is still a bargain by comparison.

  4. my husband works two jobs i work one and we still cant afford to heat our home

but i we will try to "get over it"

    sigh......

  5. Because we can't strike, we need gas. And the price is not yet high enough for this country to use significantly less.

  6. Like everyone else has said...  Its a necessity, If only our world was built similar to new york or overseas where things are closer to each other so that bikes could be used to go everywhere without being like Lance Armstrong. The average person cant ride 20mi. back and forth to work.

Wait till it hits $5.00 or so a gallon, you may see more action to protest or more people using alternative transportation then. Carpooling, mopeds, buses, etc.

  7. Because most people have to drive to get to work, and that takes gas in the car.

  8. because some of us have to work to make money to buy gas therefor we couldnt stand outside all day long and demand that gas prices be brought down. or else

  9. we rely on it
