  1. you can kindly say "can you move alittle? thanks", it's not rude and indicates you like your personal space. I agree tho, it seems no one knows personal space etiquette.

My fiancee says she likes to say "I'm really claustrophobic, and i'm about to have an anxiety attack" and people start moving quick. Start coughing and wheezing for the best effect. (she really doesn't have it, she doesnt like people standing on her either usually smelling real bad too or thinking theyre gonna get to the end of the line quicker)

  2. If I sense someone too close, I would take a slight half-step back and if I brushed them I'd be like "Oh sorry" and they should automatically take the hint and step back.

  3. People are so rude i don't know why they think they can treat people they way they do sometimes. It angers me they have no respect or aren't thoughtful of others.

  4. l agree with Winnie. Also young people do not have an awareness of personnel space....

  5. I hate when people are right up against my back in line! That is very rude of them. I usually give the the "wtf" eye, lol

  6. Unfortunately, some people have never been taught about the rules of etiquette.  They simply don't understand that it's rude to stand close to somebody you don't know in a public place.  They are equally ignorant about such things as covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing, saying 'please' or 'thank-you' at the appropriate times, talking with their mouths full of food etc.  The list is endless.  It seems that rules about manners, etiquette etc are simply not taught by parents anymore, if indeed the parents know the rules themselves in the first place!
