  1. Yes, I agree. Being mayor of a town of 5,000 qualifies you to be Vice President of the United States.

  2. It seems a little irresponsible for Palin to have chosen to take up a political career when she has 5 children to look after.

And it also seems irresponsible to me, that knowing her young daughter was expecting, to agree to take on the Vice Presidents role at this time. She has put her ambitions above the needs of her pregnant daughter, who will be suffer media pressure.

You can’t do everything at the same time – Palin is stretching herself too thinly. So much to look out for. Things will start going wrong.

  3. Why...would you want someone as young as her that has already abused power the way she has?  Trying to get her ex-brother-in-law fired?   And she lied when she said she was against the "bridge to nowhere"...she lied to the American people on the very day that she was announced as the VP choice.

Less than 2 years as governor of AK...is that the experience people think she has?  She could be very dangerous as Pres...not knowing how laws are enacted.  You know there are checks and balances.  I don't think she would work well within those confines.  And I don't like her stance on a lot of the issues....especially:

Opposed protections for salmon from mining contamination.

What kind of a Mother would do that?
