Why are people so against Marxism?? Especially when it works to the advantage of the masses!?

Ive read so much into politics and have come to the realization that Capitalism is its own worst enemy. It doesnt work! It will consume itself sooner or later... by the looks of it sooner.

Marxism is all about equality. Its not a perfect formula, however nothing is. It does however work to the advantage of the masses. Most of whom disagree are ignorant and brainwashed. Read the communist manifesto. It is outdated amongst most of his work, but with a little tweaking would be a much better system.

Just my opinion... I would like to hear others. This isnt an attack on anyone, just intelligent conversation.

  1. It is the one party state that doesn't work because absolute power always corrupts absolutely.  Marxist/Communist parties in Europe never win overall majorities but work fine as part of their systems.  If they ever do win and can't (as Fascists and the old USSR did) make all other parties illegal, they will have to moderate their views, work w. others and will in effect be left wing Socialists.

  2. I agree.

Unfortunately, the capitalist and right-wing mass media don't. These are the new opium of the masses.

  3. Well I wouldn't worry too much about it, as that it just where we all are heading, they are busy at the moment killing off the middle class, which will leave the rich and poor, just like all the other Communist countries, only this time we can't even rise in a revolution, they have though of that, so we will all be chipped, and told just what to do by our rich masters.

  4. Marxism does not work because there are to many who think if I get what I need regardless of whether or not I produce then why bust my rear.

  5. This question sounds like something written in about 1895.  One hardly knows where to begin to respond.  I suggest you check out the last century or so of world history and then get back to us.

  6. Communism is great (in theory). Communism gets about 2/3 down the road and stays there. The government (state) will never trust the proletariot and will never relinquish power to them. Look at Russia (Soviet Union). Utter failure!! Why should you work harder if you do not benefit? Bread lines, etc. Bad experiment. :(

  7. Jesus was a communist. Its a pity most Christians dont actually follow the path of Jesus.

  8. If you like Marxism then I have a suggestion to tweak it.

Computer Currency made through photo shop plus designs by citizens. Print on recycled paper. Civic Currencies. Each person designs their own. The Rich make theirs as well. This may destroy things again but also has the potential to fund Green Projects perhaps hire Demolitionists for Commercial Airports as well as cars. Evacuate people from Commercial Aircraft as well as cars and demolish the aircraft and the cars.

  9. You should live in Russia or someplace that is still behind the times!

  10. I am stunned that you could so meekly embrace a completely discredited and failed "system" of government.  If the 20th century tought us anything it is that a large centralized government is at best completely inefficient and at worst deadly to its population.

What is so special about equality you discuss in your question?  You shouldn't confuse how a government should treat its people with how everyone should exist throughout their life as dictated by the state.  That is why marxism failed because people don't want to be equal, we all have our own wants, desires, and idea of how we want to pursue happiness.

The last thing that I want to buy is a Big Gulp but darn-it if someone wants to sell them and someone wants to buy them then why should it be up to a government to decide whether or not Big Gulps are sold.  This of course becomes of much greater importance when the decision is: how much money should we spend by developing the next generation of MRIs and the people making the decision are in competition with other companies that might develop an MRI in a quicker or more efficient manner.

The competition that is at the heart of capitalism is why it has been victorious over marxism.

  11. Because Marxism takes away your freedoms. Freedom of speech, freedom to worship or not worship as you see fit, freedom to choose what you want to do for a living....

I could go on and on, but surely you get the point.

  12. Ask the Russians, Polish, East Germans, Cubans, Chinese, etc...that have lived through Marxism and are getting rid of it why it sucks so bad.

Realize that there is a difference between theory (Marxism is a theory) and living it. The people above lived it. Marxism doesn't work that is why so many have abandoned it for Capitalism.

  13. The problem with Marxism - as has been evidenced in every country that it was tried in - is that it removes incentive on an individual basis to be the best that one can be. It is like a snake eating its own tail to solve hunger, for once the riches are re-distributed to the masses, the system - even in its more perfect form (tweaked, as it were) - fails to produce the goods, services, and innovations necessary to continue to create the necessary capital for dispersion. Without the carrot of bettering one's personal circumstances - and those of others in a person's life, who would make some sacrifices in order to achieve that end - what desire would then provoke the individual to contribute more, when their needs will be met (presumably) one way or the other?

    Edit:

There is more than material gain involved in the dynamic that I am talking about. It extends beyond mere greed, as shown by the charitable nature of people who become wealthy. The government cannot possibly meet the demands people hold closest to their hearts - which tend to be more locally based due to the communal nature of society. Anyone will help their family members before someone in another state. This gets worse with the growth of government, who must account for the entire system (or country). The needs of the community are lost in the preservation of the state. While things might very well be getting better nationwide, the transition is hard on localities because that is more distant to them than what they see in their proximity, and discontent grows.

On the matter of burgeouise, in any system of power, it has to be delegated to someone. With power comes influence, and with influence a fertile ground for corruption to grow. Favors might seem innocent enough at first, but even those who may be placed in oversight positions to prevent it fall to the same lure. This is why tweaking, as mentioned above, might seem to work - on paper. But it would quickly fall when applied.

  14. Sure?

    Look in the real world.

Why is everyone  living in misery?

Why were they jumping ship away from the dead Mummy?

With the Book of the Dead?

What is the missing link in the generation gap?

Is it not the Book of the Living?

What can the Dead do for the living?

When the living were not dead yet?

How can the Book of the Dead be better or greater than the Book of the Living?

So where is the human intelligent?

Who is getting their own little ones, own children, own generation, own tribe, own community and children of all tribes of different community with self lack of knowledge to commit suicide with the Book of the Dead in own backyards with self lack of knowledge without being aware of it being expose in time?

Who's the bunch of educated idiots with self lack of knowledge in kicking the butts of their own children?

With unruly behaviour, self prides, self rudeness, self image of standing idol, self discrimination as people of different races of self racism with self lack of knowledge?

In kicking the butts of God in not worshiping God?

    Leviticus 4. 13, 22

    What do you think?
