We don't know where we came from and where we are going, but yet some people insist that Aliens and the paranormal don't exist, how would they know, there is more proof of Aliens then there is of God!

  1. There is nothing closed-minded about insisting on evidence, credible evidence. There isn't any. Why are YOU so eager to believe?

  2. you people are just idiots if you still dont believe aliens are real. They're out there just last year i caught a ufo while i was taking a picture of a mountain in central america and just last week my brother caught 4 ufo's zooming by really fast on camera yes real ****** proof during an approaching lighting storm.People look at footage of ufos saying o its just a plane/helicopter ha planes and helicopters dont zoom by that fast. d**n fools. open up your eyes.

  3. Quite frankly they aren't, your claim is a gross misrepresentation of the , they are just not so openminded that their brain fell out.

In science, it is the duty of the one who proposes something to prove it, and so far the Alien-crowd hasn't delivered anything beyond "It's a big universe and somewhere life should exist"

  4. There is a good word you should know Consensus Reality. This is the agreement of cultures of what is real. If a whole culture believes their God is real,it becomes real. weather real or not. The people in power know this, so they have a monopoly on Consensus Reality through the Mass Media, Science, and Religion. So modern people believe that if something is on the News, its real. And that if a Scientist said something, it's true, and that if a religious figure approved something , it must be good. Most people don't use their rational mind, they just wait for some outer force (Mass Media, Science, Religion) to tell them what to think and what to believe in. So instead of getting upset by these people, you should feel sorry for them, for they are Sheeple.

  5. i believe in the scientific aliens. aliens that are carbon based beings existing on celestrial bodies other than our own but i do not agree with the theory of highly advanced green men that fly around in flying saucers abducting people. those aliens exist in science fiction.

there is no actual evidence supporting either god, or aliens. mathematically, it makes sense that there are other life forms besides those that exist on earth. there are, in theory, about 750,000,000,000,000,000 solar systems in the visible universe... not to mention the countless number of solar systems existing in the universe we can't see.

we don't have any proof of aliens existing. all these so called "sightings" are completely fake. these sightings started in the 1950's when sci fi comics talking about these alien space ships started to be sold and become popular. unfrotunately, when people hear the word "alien" they think of these interstellar beings that a green with oxygen tanks on their backs that fly around abducting people. those aliens are science fiction. the true scientific definition of an alien is a carbon based life form existing on another celestrial body. a plant on mars would be considered an alien. a worm would.

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that we are the only intelligent life by any means. there has to be life more intelligent than ours somewhere in the universe. but these aliens haven't traveled to earth. out of all the planets in the galaxy, why would these rare beings choose earth as their primary target? that just doesn't make sense to me.

  6. yeah! right!

why do they still wanna believe in them?

    I agree with U

    so closed minded

  7. Societal pressure.  Also, they are afraid of the unknown.

  8. Funny how folks are quite eager to disregard any existence of God, yet blindly believe in all sorts of hocus pocus, astrological mumbo jumbo stuff! There is no proof for the existence of either concept.

  9. people are being more closed minded thinking about aliens. i mean c'mon, why waste your time over something which doesnt exist?

  10. because people like tina think everything the gov't tells them is the truth. they are very naive, but they act like they are very smart. The truth is they are quite like lemmings jumping off the cliff, no mind of their own to consider that its possible the govt has lied to them.

our parents have lied to us at times. big brother does the same when they think its for the best.

  11. Show me the evidence.

I don't believe in things for no reason, that's called religion.  And there's no good reason to believe in aliens.

Note: I didn't say anything about aliens not existing.  I said I won't believe they DO exist until I see the evidence.  These are two different things.  You seem to miss the difference between 'believing aliens don't exist' (that one's not me) and 'not believing aliens do exist' (that's me.)

And before you think I'm just close minded, I'm actually considering going into astrobiology to study the possibility of alien life and the origins of life.

"To Strange, It saddens me that you have failed to see what makes us human . . . to question the unknown has led to some of man's grates accomplishments."

Questioning the unknown and believing in things for absolutely no good reason are not the same thing.

And no, statistics is not 'proof' or even good evidence of alien life.  Okay, fine, there are a lot of other planets out there.  Now what about that means alien life exists?  How did you determine the frequency of life-bearing planets?  You didn't, because we only have one example, earth?  Statistics are not valid with a sample size of 1.  You just said there 'has' to be life out there because the number of other planets is so big it boggles the mind.  But this is not sound logic.

"because people like tina think everything the gov't tells them is the truth. they are very naive, but they act like they are very smart. The truth is they are quite like lemmings jumping off the cliff, no mind of their own to consider that its possible the govt has lied to them."

Tina's reply was quite good.  Simple, logical and to the point.  Yours, not so much.  Yours is just an insult with no supporting evidence, and you just sound like a conspiracy nut (especially with that screen name.)

Here's the simple, catch all response for people like you: Show me the money.  Produce the evidence, or shut up.  Simple.

Weeds out the lame-o's and quickly determines if they actually have something worth talking about.

  12. I dont have any problem with aliens but I do not believe in paranormal..   With aliens I think its more likely than not that there should be intelligent life out there.  Do I think they have come to earth?  NO.   Based on what we know, the distances are just too far..  Even if they could travel at or near the speed of light they could get here in a relative short amount of time but due to physics and relativity, they would probably have no home to return to...

  13. Actually, we DO know where we came from. It really annoys me when people start claiming that humans were "seeded" by alien visitors or something, when we have abundant evidence charting our evolution on this planet for millions of years into the past. No mystery there, just the amazing natural process of evolution.

However, I will agree with you to a certain extent on people being closed-minded. It's certainly true that the "alien hypothesis" for UFOs is far from proven, but to say that there is no evidence is completely ignorant.

Scientists are far too eager to dismiss eye-witness testimony out of hand, yet we readily will send people to prison on the basis of such testimony. Furthermore, a great deal of radar data and other detection devices HAVE categorically detected UFOs in our atmosphere.

Not conclusive proof by any stretch of the imagination, but data/evidence nonetheless.

I find it a rather telling state of affairs that virtually no professional astronomer would go on record as saying they believe that some UFOs are alien vehicles, whereas world-renowned physicists like Michio Kaku remain completely open-minded to the idea.

  14. there is no proof of either.

it isn't closed-minded to insist on verifiable proof. it's just sensible and realistic.

  15. True there is no proof of either, BUT let's think mathematically and talk about the possibilities of lifeforms besides ours exists.

Let's take for example, recently scientists randomly focused their telescopes on an area of space, and to their surprise there were what they believed to be millions of galaxies in that tiny area.

What are the possibilities of lifeforms not existing? What if they needed a different environment to survive rather than oxygen or ambient temperatures?

Even if scientists could see no lifeforms within these galaxies, there probably are, what they are seeing is the infant stage of the galaxy as they believe that light at that distant takes about 150 million lights years to get to earth.

I'm not saying it's definite, but let's keep an open mind just in case they come and eat our food =]

  16. Anything that is in the sky that you can't identify is a UFO.  That doesn't mean that it came from outer space. It also doesn't mean that it didn't come from outer space.  All it means is that you don't know what it is.

  17. It amazes me how arrogant man is to think he is the only one in the universe. If you scaled down the Milky Way Galaxy to the size of the earth, out solar system would be about the size of a basketball. The Milky Way is relatively small when it comes to galaxies. There is at least another 100 billion galaxies out there. In all that space, how can we even think we are the only life out there?

  18. you might want to read some of Dolores Cannon's books on the subject, she holds christian beliefs but also is a Somnombulistic Hypnotist, this is an area of hypnosis that scares the medical field because the information that comes through can challenge the most evolved minds...... especially on how it relates to God and UFO's.... if your interested in ufo's, this is MUST reading.

  19. what is the actual reality behind UFO

why d**n this is taught in our lessons too during education?

UFO's reality is answered in this link below:

  20. Freshness -

On the contrary, in fact, all scientific evidence indicates that, while there is a possibility of alien life somewhere, the probability that it has visited us in any intelligent manner is nonexistent. And the meaning of the word "paranormal" sort of rules out the application of any science in that area at all.

Scientists are open - minded when they hear evidence. There has been none at all that would mean a thing to anyone who understands science. So your next step, if you really want to pursue this to its logical end, is that you must understand science. I recommend it highly.

ADDED: As Erica says, you need more than eyewitnesses when you are talking about violating the laws of physics. You need mathematical proposals that make sense. How did they exceed light speed to get here? How did they violate the tenets of Special Relativity? Why did they come here in the first place if they could not tell that we existed based on the "look-back time" in their home system? Or did they simply live with the centuries of lost time and write it off to sacrificed lives given in the spirit of exploration? If you don't understand what I'm asking for, then you don't understand the level of evidence that is necessary to make such claims worthy of even minor scientific attention.

  21. The proof in alien life exists in the mathematical probability. Study astronomy and realize how many stars there are out there and then think about how many planets and moons are orbiting them. Steven Hawking, an astrophysicist and one of the smartest people alive, believes that one of these planets does support extraterrestrial life. Then think about the fact that our galaxy is young compared to others. Meaning a different civilization could be billions of years ahead of us. Imagine what technology humans will have in a billion years. I think the question is not do they exist, but whether they are here.

To Strange, It saddens me that you have failed to see what makes us human . . . to question the unknown has led to some of man's grates accomplishments. Since man began to think he has wondered "Why?" That question is so innate in us that even a child first learning about the world will continuously ask. Maybe you should go back to being numb in front of the television and not try to answer people's questions if you think they are a waste of time.

  22. I don't consider aliens as part of the paranormal.  I think they are actual beings from other worlds.

Some people are afraid to believe in them.  Some just believe that anything they haven't seen doesn't exist.  Some just have their minds made up and don't want anyone to confuse them with facts.

  23. It's one thing to have an open mind.  It's another to have it so open the brains fall out!  I don't doubt that somewhere, in a Universe as vast as the one in which we live, there are other intelligences.  However, as an astronomer familiar with the distances involved, and the laws of physics,  I don't believe for a second that we are beset with potential invaders from other worlds.  When you mention "proof" by the way, you need to back that up with instances, and not hearsay.
