Why are people so cranky on the freeway?

If you go the speed limit, they honk, sometimes, they go speeding around you and look llike they are angry at the world. I think they are just over -caffeinated idiots, what is their problem?

Truly Caffein isn't their only problem.....just get outta the way, and let the smuchks get on......it is safer that way....If I see them get stopped....speeding up the road...I am sure to wave and honk....rub it in a bit...LOL

Some people are not happy unless they are driving faster than everyone else on the road. Some of them may be in a hurry to get somewhere and some of them just drive that way all the time because they are jerks.

Road rage is a growing trend because people are no longer patient. PERIOD.

They are probably mad because they know that you are getting alot better gas mileage than them =). As long as you are staying in the slow lane (right lane) you can go as slow as you like as long as its not dangerous. Just ignore them. People stress out to much now a days.

I think it's human nature to take advantage of anonymity to behave badly.  Some people, when they get behind the wheel, feel they can treat other people badly without any negative consequences.  In my opinion, rude drivers are usually people who ordinarily feel weak and ineffectual, and so find it empowering to be rude and obnoxious from the safety of their car.

DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY IS NOT A PLEASURE TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY HAVE THINGS TO DO AND THIS COMMUTE IS AN INCONVENIENCE THAT IS DELAYING THEIR DAY AND ANYTHING THAT PROLONGS THIS EVIL NECESSITY (NORMAL PEOPLE) MAKES THEM ANGRY
