If a little girl gets sexually abused as a child and end up a little messed up and has disorders because of it as an adult woman , if she admits she has problems and explains, a lot of people understand. But the when a little boy gets sexually abused as a child and end up a little messed up and has disorders because of it as an adult man , even if he admits he has problems and explains, society doesn’t care one bit and still treats him like he did it to himself, or he’s automatically going to do that to someone (that’s the way TV and the media portray it) and point the finger at him like he wanted or invited it and that's outrageous, even though he is a man now, he was just a little boy who couldn't protect himself when it happened to him. So why do people have such f*cked up point of view?

  1. There seems to be this syndrome where women hold in high esteem the "innocent victim" if it is a woman...  but men aren't allowed in that club.  Men will always be considered the evil perpetrators.  I call it the "Oprah syndrome"  since she loves to do features about women as some type of victim.  To be fair there IS much truth to the fact that men DO perpetrate most of the violence in the world and most of the evil things. However it seems this is gradually changing as a lot more women are allowing themselves to act as immorally as men always have. Isn't it a great world we live in? Progress...yeah.

  2. Feminism.

  3. I'm sorry for whoever that happens to. If you are a kid and you get raped or molested or sexually violated, you are the victim, regardless of gender. People don't realize that men also have deep emotions and thought processes, as do women. Men just aren't supposed to show it as much.. according to society..

  4. Society wants women to be victims and men to be in control.  Hearing that a girl was abused reinforces this idea.  Hearing that a boy was abused is contradictory and unacceptable, therefore the boy must be lying or weak or he wanted it.

Even though that thought process doesn't make sense, people in our society automatically go there to retain some semblance of order to their world.

  5. I can't even begin to answer this, but i agree with you 100% and then some. Kids can't defend themselves no matter what gender they are!

  6. Well where Im from we don't treat boys or girls differently in that situation, but to answer your question I think b\c the majority of society think that women are the weakest link between both genders I think they feel more for the girl then they would for the boy... I know its pretty fcuked up but thats the insane world we live in nowadays.

  7. I don't know why.

    True.

    I don't know why.

Maybe because of deep hatred of pedophile, molesters and homosexual gets in the way of showing sympathy.

We would find it disgusting....    and would rather send them (male rape victims) away to Mars... and never seen them again...

But... I guess that is how people see it.

  8. I think you're misinformed.

  9. haha.

    you said hard on!

  10. you're generalizing and sorry you're having a hard time being understood
