Why are people so insulting on ya?

i mean seriously if you ask one simple question that you dont know the answer to and someone else does they like basically insult you in their answer...i don't get it not everyone knows the same thing geeese!!

I agree with most of the responses above, and in a nutshell, it is the difference between empowerment and dis-empowerment.

These people share the same traits as trolls, who become offended by something someone may post, ask, say or do, and they stalk them (yes, as ridiculous as that may seem) throughout YA.

The best thing is to just ignore it, as it only fuels their 'fire'.  They are very narrow-minded people who feel they do not have power or a real life or companionship (you name it) in the real world.

Lol - for example, when I began writing this answer, the people who I agreed with and had thumbed-up, had no thumbs-down.  after I posted the response I see where someone (and I'd bet a hefty sum that it was one of the other posters who had thumbs-down) went around and thumbed everyone down.  It is a desperate attempt to feel powerful, or someone who is just really sad and who makes them-self feel better by being rude.  No biggie - again, just ignore it.

Ä°ts a way of motivating you to be less stupid. Have you ever been around a really annoying whiny person who seemed a like they were asking ridiculous questions? How did you feel about it? What did you end up doing? Yeah, because you know if you coddle them their BS is just going to continue.

So its nothing personal. Ä°ts just human nature.

ok, sometimes it is peoples personality. its just the way they are. like i for one, am similar in life to the way i answer questions on here. and it costs me friends sure, but id rather say what im feeling than pretend to be someones friend and lie about what im really thinking. again usually its nothing personal. sure its a little rude, but not everyones going to be nice. thats just the way things are.

Its the weird brigade. The ones with chips on their very narrow shoulders who are probably pushed around in the real world and come on this site to be rude and offencive. If they don't want to answer the question why do they bother. You may receive answers like, because I am so tough, its the nature of the beast,I am what I am and total nonsense like that. They hide behind the security of this site knowing that no one can give them a slap or look them in the eye. Keep asking your questions and don't let the mutants who lurk in the dark deter you.

They feel safe and confident hiding behind a computer screen and bashing people, because in real life they get run over by everyone they encounter, so the only way they get their feelings out is to magically grow a pair when their fingers hit the keyboard. Makes them feel like they have accomplished something when really they just look like a tard on the internet too, a tard with balls, but still a tard.

It baffles me because I really think they believe they have done something amazing. I just brush it off as another nerdy looser with the look of concentration like a constipated t**d searching for the right words in their head not being able to find them, they aren't there so they insult people smarter than them.
