Why are people so much more helpful then the search engines?

People have the added benefit of life experience.  Also, a person can combine information that may normally be found separately on a search engine so that the answer is more tailored to the specifics of the question.

With Y/A you can fill in more detail and be specific. People aren't going to give you a bunch of misleading urls that are ads.

A person is always better than a program or machine. At least for now.

because search engines pull up a whole bunch of c**p u dont want and people tell u wat ur actually looking for!!
