I feel like whenever there is a question about sushi on here, everyone is like MMMM CALIFORNIA ROLL. And it's like DUDE, try something else, I guarantee you you'll like it more if you have an open mind about eating something raw. I'm not denying that California Rolls are sushi, because technically they are ("sushi" refers to the rice, not the other ingredients), but seriously, try something traditional for once. It's not going to kill you.
It also annoys me when people are asked about what their favorite sushi is, all they can do is name off a bunch of rolls that aren't even universal, like, "OMG IT'Z A NINJA ROLL, DEY'RE SO GOOD LOLZ." Um, first of all, there is more to sushi than just rolls, and secondly, no one knows what an effing hong kong roll is. It's probably something your local sushi bar just made up.
Does this annoy anyone else?
