Getting on the highway from where I live there's a yeild on the ramp. I had the right of way, and I have only 4 years on the road, but I know enough that yeilds can be very dangerous. So I'm following a line of cars onto the highway, and sure enough someone is approaching the yield, I watch them not look, cut me right off (quick evasive move to the left, and a bit of brake, luckily I was watching and avoided a collision).
I merge onto the highway, quick merge to centre, and pull up next to the driver who cut me off so I can flip them off.
Well, the lady driver isn't looking at me, nor the road. She's lighting her cigarrette. What's worse... there's 3 kids in the car. I decide, because of the kids, not to flip her off, I just shook my head, and sped up to my highway cruise speed.
What the heck goes through people's minds? I mean, kids in the car, smoking, while merging onto the highway? What the heck could be going through her mind?
