Why are people soo freaking mean??

ok i know this is prb a stupid question but i was just wondering. ppl tell me im pretty all of the time. im about 5'4, have long brunette hair, brown eyes, and i weigh like 115. the reason why im asking this is because i guess im considered popular at my school but alot of girls are really freaking bitchy to me for no reason. like im nice to just about everyone and i really havent given them a reason to be mean to me. but anyways theyre always telling me that im ugly. i dont wanna sound conceded but do you just think they are jealous?? and if they are just jealous,, should i just ignore them?? or confront them

They probably took an incident with you the wrong way one time and still hold a grudge against it. I know a girl two years younger than me who still holds a grudge against me because I accidentally insulted her myspace default. So your best bet is to ignore them and if they get too bad, then don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. If they won't give you the respect you deserve, then you shouldn't be expected to do the same for them.

It sounds like you're doing all the right things, so it's not your problem, it's theirs. Any negative comments get me down very easily, but I’ve learned that if they're impersonal things, they're best left ignored.

They probably are jealous, so just be glad that they envy you for what you are and move ahead. What's a handful of people here and there when a great majority of people are fond of you?

As mentioned above, sounds like pure jealousy... Chances are those who are mean to you usually speak to you when they have their buddy or someone with them correct?  Those people are usually just cowards and weaklings...Ignore them..

However, when you feel something said is injustice, Speak out!!!

They're most likely jealous. Also, it could just be they don't like you. For no reason. Some girls (stupid ones) are like that, they hate people for no reason and always try to put them down. They also might be insecure and are trying to make themselves feel better by hurting you.

Anyways, i wouldn't say anything unless it's really bothering you or hurting your feelings. Then i would just try to confront them in a calm way. Don't say anything mean, that's just stooping to their level and causing more problems.

Yup! It's jelousy, and best ignore them and stick with yur true freainds.

Try to just be yurself and not do stuff to make them feel bad or ugly because of U.

How you are with them determines how they are going to treat U.

If U make looks that they can't match to be everthing, they won't like you.

Be good to all of them, no matter how they look! If you look good, it grew that way, and so you can't take the credit 4 it anyway, but enjoy it in a fair way.
