Why are people such dumb drivers?

Question

If you're making a left hand turn out of a parking lot onto a busy road during rush hour, and there's an exit that has a traffic signal, why would you be such an idiot to sit and wait and block everybody behind you to make a left at an exit that doesn't have a signal? What's the point of traffic signals then?

AND why do people insist on practically slowing to a stop when they move to the middle turning lane? You're not supposed to start braking until you're already IN the turning lane!

I suppose you feel that you are a professional driver and have all the answers from training and experience. Real life, real mistakes. Deal with it the best that you can.

On your first point, I agree 100%. On your second point, you are wrong. Why should people have to brake hard from 40 or 50 MPH in a turn lane just so YOU wont be inconvenienced? YOU are the problem here. YOU are following too close!
