I wouldn't say he compares to JFK... but he's different and that's going to scare people. You'll get racism no matter what your colour or nationality, and I can't remember the last time anyone was happy with the presidential candidates. Was there ever a time?

Just think, Obama is as paranoiac as his friend Hugo chavez.

What will happen if he becomes elected, is he going to think that the US government is trying to kill him? Chavez thinks that anyone who doesn't  agree with him is trying to destroy him. It is the result of using to much coca. Paranoia don't you agree?

Ignorance, racism, drugs, and no potential for a better life because they are too stubborn to look beyond their small and pathetic lives. Why is killing anyone the answer to anything? Anyone that thinks this is the answer is just not that bright. I don't think I'm all that smart but even I recognize that killing isn't the answer.

edit: Black leaders have been killed and it wasn't so long ago. It bothers me. I think we should have made some progress. You don't really hear about threats against McCain and I'm sure there are but it's more newsworthy to hear the ones against Obama, which just makes me personally more nervous. I want to believe that we have evolved to a greater state, where race and s*x just don't matter as much as substance.

I'm afraid he's no Jack Kennedy in any way other than he will probably be targetted and shot. It's nothing to joke about, but most people think he won't be alive on election day.

It's because Obama is different,and as the saying goes,"People are afraid of anything different".Personally I don't agree with all of his political views,but that's no reason to kill the man.Though I still see in some places in society the" Glass Ceiling " still exists.

I just remembered an old interview with the late Strom Thurmon where a reporter had asked what he thought of (then) Secretary of State Colin Powell.
