  1. deforestation implies that the forests are not being managed well, if at all, with no replanting.  Its also one thing to cut down well managed forest plots of trees planted for timber 50 years ago, and another thing to clear cut redwood forests or tropical rainforests to make toilet paper out of them.  Its shortsighted thing to do, the monetary gains of a few industries dont serve the rest of the human race for the loss.

  2. Trees clean the oxygen we breathe (along with every other plant).  With all the cars we drive, plants we run, and every other pollutant in the world.  We need all the filtration we can get!  As far as recycling trees.  It takes a LONG LONG time for a tree to grow...

  3. Problem is that cutting down trees is so much quickier to growing them.  For our future generations, the balance between cutting down trees & growing them are going to be lopsided

you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time

  5. Deforestation undoubtedly has jeopardised the ongoing environmental crisis, thanks to the extensive felling of trees.Trees are being cut recklessly for satisfying human needs and i don't think adequate afforestation programmes are being implemented by the gov't . Recycling won't help unless we undertake stringent measures to prevent innumerable trees from being felled. If we want to save the earth , we mus save our trees.

  6. Because...yes we are recycling tree but not in a large scale and growing up of tree takes a lot of tym compared to cutting them we cut around thousands of tree a days and how many do we grow???So thats the problem

  7. Becuase many areas are cutting down too many trees and the area of forest is disappearing. Barely anyone is against using trees altogether, however believe that the trees should be used in a sustainable way. Sure we are using the trees to make stuff, however it is causing a huge negative impact on the environment in which the trees support. An area the size of Switzerland disappears from the Amazon rainforest everywhere and makes many animal and plant species extinct.

It is not so much the trees being cut down, it is the pace they are cut down and what is done to replenish the area again. Scndinavia have a huge wood industry but it is a sustainable industry. They maintain their woodland areas in such a way that they cut down trees almost all year long yet many of their forests are growing in size.
