Why are people voting for Obama when they think Hillary can protect us better?

I've been reading a few questions here and they ask who would be better if our country was attacked again, Hillary or Obama. The vast majority of answers have been that Hillary would be better ...... so if that's the case why are people voting for Obama? Just curious.

One woman interviewed said she had voted for Obama but preferred Clinton, but voted for Obama because she thought Clinton will lose.  People like that should not even bother to vote.

She didn't protect the NYers...  

They were in the DARK for 2 days.

Remember that?

And NYers 9/11, she did nothing...  Rudy Giuliani did all the work.

And other situation in New York, she didn't do anything.

She didn't even bother to go to Arkansas, her previous hometown, when they suffered tornado tragic.

They're simply scared of a woman being president....Many think that it's a man's job. I on the contrary think that Clinton is a strong candidate and people better not sleep on her!

I think people are constantly told that we are under threat and need to protect ourselves and yet, we haven't been attacked, not even close.  So we are stressed and scared and Obama gives us the comfort and calms us down.  And then we hear that we are in danger again and should fight this invisible terrorist.  

It's like we are unintentionally vomiting up that we are in danger and need someone in office to protect us and then not really seeing that we are in danger so there is nothing to change our actions.

People are voting for Obama because he is a great public speaker and the candidate he is running against is just as lame as he is.

Both Democratic candidates are making promises they cannot keep.

Besides - neither Hillary nor Obama have presented their comprehensive plan for protecting us from AQ.  They seem to be hoping that the American people can  be lulled into a sense of complacency because the current administration has gutted AQ and prevented them from rebuilding their network.
