Because the intent is not to arouse or sell the pics to others.

In European nations, there is not such a huge taboo against nudity.

That seems to be a peculiarity of America and Britain.

Think National Geographic.  I remember seeing pleny of semi-nude pics and that is not classified as p**n.

Think Michaelangelo's "David".  Everyone sees that and it is not classified as p**n.

Good question, unfortunately no conclusion to it but I and other parents were banned from taking pictures of our kids at their school sports day, who were all dressed.

By definition, pornography involves sexual behavior.  Mere nudity is not pornography.

If you can look at a nude child and have sexual thoughts, YOU are a very sick individual.

Because pictures of children naked aren't pornography.  Sexually suggestive pictures of children are.
