  1. I suppose everyone has there own idea of just what expensive really is. Now, 2 years ago when my wife and I got married she found out that I paid $30 dollars for a pillow and nearly flipped out that I actually spent that much money on a pillow. I simply laughed at her because I thought that a $30 dollar pillow was very cheap. Nearly 2 years later I have spent 75 dollars on a new tempur pedic pillow that I purchased off of ebay, and a few months later when we purchased a new bed decided to purchase a different tempur pedic pillow that was reg. priced a $150 but got it for $100 since we were spending $1300 dollars on a King bed. She thought I was crazy for spending $30 on a pillow....but doesn't think that I'm crazy for spending $100 on the last one because she has come to realize how much more comfortable they are then these 5-8 dollar pillows at walmart or some other similar retail store. I'll spend $100 dollars on a pillow while my neighbor might say thats too expensive and will purchase the 8 dollar pillow. As I have read in other threads...it's hard to put a price on a good nights sleep. If someone woud have given me the pillow that I now sleep on, 3 years ago to test out for a few days, and then told me the pillow was $250 dollars I bet I would have found a way to pay for it....it's just that comfortable. So why are pillows so expensive...again what do you consider to be expensive? I don't think my $150 dollar pillow is expensive because of how well it allows me to sleep....now if I didn't sleep any different on this pillow then I did on my 8 dollar pillow, then I'd certainly consider the pillow to be expensive.
