  1. police follow law and order most of the time. he has to go faster then u.

  2. Police are not allowed to speed for no reason.  For some types of calls, like a call where they are trying to bust a drug ring, they drive fast, but do not use a siren because they do not want the criminals to hear them coming and run away.  When police do speed for no reason they can and will be pulled over by another policeman.  Also, if they use their siren for no reason they are pulled over and given a huge ticket.  They are not breaking the law they are saving lives.  Just because you don't know why they are speeding does not mean they do not have a reason.

  3. And just how do you know they are going somewhere faster for no reason? Did you know that there are different traveling procedures for different types of calls? How effective would it be to respond to a home invasion called that is a few miles away, if you blare your sirens and flash your lights letting the invader know the cops are on the way and they better start the getaway now? Police officers are trained to drive fast. Sure they have accidents just like the next driver, but I would put the skills of an officer against an everyday driver anytime.

  4. They have to have a reason so speed, doesn't mean that they don't do it though

  5. They are not.

I have seen city police ticketed for speeding and making illegal U turns, by the Highway Patrol.

If they are doing something dangerous, and unneccessary, report them.

  6. just because!
