Why are popups still occuring?

I'm having an issue with new IE browser windows popping up even when running poppup blockers and spyware/malware sweeper programs. I've taken to placing the sites on the restricted sites list, but the window still opens, it just can't complete loading the site. I',m also running an up-to-date virus checker as well.

Try running your computer in safe mode and scan your system using an anti-spyware program. It seems your computer has some sort of adware on it.

When you manage to fix your problem I suggest you download spywareblaster. It will help you prevent this problem from happening again.

You should also consider switching to a different internet browser, IE is not very secure.
