Why are refugees in Sudan something of international concern?

Why are refugees in Sudan something the United Nations and countries all over the world should be concerned about?

They should be concerned for Humanitarian reasons.

However the wealthy Nations have their priorities. The USA is

fully committed to fighting in

Iraq and Afghanistan.  The UK prefers to give money to the Palestinians and so on.

Because people in Sudan are suffering. We all are human aren't we?????? A big part of the problem with the world today is too many are only concerned with themselves.

Beacause the president is volating human rights. (genocide!) and it is a worldly concern because it is basically another holocost that should never have began and should be stoped befor it gets any worse.

Because how would you like it if there was genocide in your country but the international community left you there to die?
