Why are results in btyahoo search different from yahoo main search?

I have a web site listed in yahoo search but not btyahoo. It was originally in btyahoo but then disappeared. When this happened the site I built my web site with became a sponsered entry, though it does not relate to the key words being searched for, as if hidden link. Does this normally occur?

I think BTyahoo is different as it is linked to a company and the results therefore maybe biased.
