no offence but i was on holiday in turkey, oludeniz and they were awlful.

they didnt know how to queue, when there was a massive queue lining up for some food (it was a open buffet) they just went straight to front and took it without saying please or thank you or anything at all.

they took ridiculous amounts of food and all at once, most of which they didnt eat.

and they were generally loud, rude and put a downer on the holiday..

why do they act like this?

  1.  I have dealt with Russians in business. Those who are educated behave the same as any other nation. Those who are not behave in the same way again as any nation. By educated , I mean well brought up. Be aware the harshness of their accent (as though they are going to kill you) is not their fault. It's how they speak, and it sounds agressive but it's not meant to be. People are peole wherever you go.

  2. Funny, I had the same experience with Russians in both an Egyptian, and a Cuban resort recently.  They cut in line, took massive amounts of food when there was a limit, and treated the local workers as their personal slaves.

On the other hand, I do have 2 Russian friends who are very good guys.

Why are they so rude?  I would guess it's a couple factors... one, stemming from the Russian culture of the 80s and 90s with mass shortages and cueing up for toilet paper etc.. so they have a dog eat dog attitude.  Two, the wealthy ones travelling are either rich from oil money, mineral money or are involved with the Russian mafia.

Anyways, if any Russians are reading this:  next time, try to show a little class, komrades!

  3. I went to Egypt and the gentle man that worked there said oh how good English i smiled at the time and didn't understand it was apparent not long after what he meant . I would love to get to know a Russian person so I could understand because i don’t think any one wants to be that sad all there life.

  4. I've just come back from a holiday in Egypt where most (not all) of the Russian tourists at our hotel were rude, impolite and generally unpleasant to be around. I'm not sure what the problem is but they seem not to abide by western courtesies, and are not forthcoming with any kind of kindness, smiling, saying good morning etc, you're lucky if you get a grimace.

Whatever hardships or hangups they have they should forget them and get on with life, being miserable to strangers for no reason is no way to live.

  5. They are smelly and ignorant (the women that is). the men are just smelly and boorish

  6. They are smelly and ignorant (the women that is). the men are just smelly and boorish

  7. Hmmm thought Russians migh know how to queued as they should be used to it after having to stand in line for simple things such as bread!

  8. agreed not as bad as the French - I went to Russia and found it horrid rude

agressive - I was banged up by the Police oops Militia for want of a bribe:( with noone to turn to in Southern Russia

My two Russian friends are the best you can meet yet they were also honest enough to speak about the awful and violent side of their home country especially the rising xenophobia, they endured a lot of hardships and are some very tough people but I went there for a friends wedding and the people I met could not have been more hospitable warm and happy for you to be there. think once people get to know you see they are as human as anyone else on this planet - the rulers of Russia irrespective of political sway always treated the majority like c**p all they have now is a new elite/nouveau riche that shops and service class to pander to their lifestyle : wonder how we would have turned out if we had to endure the same environment ?

  9. we are not rude, we're normal. we're not peasants. but you want to see us this way. in any nation there are good people and there are bad people. you just don't get accustomed that now we are everywhere.

  10. Well actually it is because they are pesants, yes some are educated but the majority are not, it isn't in their culture, of course the nobles had a different culture and education but the majority of little people never did, think about their flag hammer and sickle, they were working class people, most never finished school, after all if you know you history you would know that the Russian people were engineered, the females were made for harems and breeding and the males for manual labour... hence why the women look quite stunning and the men are so rough and big.

As a Romanian that lived under their Iron Fist... I can tell you there is NOTHING polite or friendly about them, and all of them are like that. The only ones different are the ones that were westernised, or children of Russians born in the west, that grew up in this environment. They see themselves as above most other people and will bardge and push without saying much. Even shop assistants believe you are lucky they give you their attention, if you browse too much and are indecisive... they will treate you like s**t, you are not there to pay their sallaries after all...:(

Bare in mind most Eastern European races are like that... but Russian in particular are the worst. Most of the people you see in holiday are people that are working class or bottom class that got rich overnight during split ups and power struggles, ex police men, military people, gangsters etc... most without education and these people are uneducated, no matter how much money they have and throw around.

  11. cause they are stressed because they want to suck your c**k
you are a homo taste the world jackass

'im a tard american i dont know 1/3 of the world hates my fat overstuffed a*s look at me i eat hotdogs and b***h about freedom when the goverment spies on me anyway!'

    thats you

    now go f**k a mexican

    you limp d**k f**k

  12. My family is Russian, and they are the most loving people, but also come off as very "tough" if you know what I mean. They say what they want, when they want, but when it comes down to it, they are very loving people. I think individuals with non-Russian family members will not understand this, but you have to remember that Russians had it very hard in Russia.
