Why are school fundraisers are important?

They help the school raise money. Sometimes to pay for fixing up the school, budget uses, and the likes. If there wasn't any fundraisers, the school would be in dumps (not too miserable though).

Well, they raise money for the school.  Schools typically don't have enough money to buy the supplies they need.  Fundraisers are important for getting money for supplies, or for other things like sports equipment, etc.

I used to hate the mandatory fundraisers in middle school, because I hate having to bother people for money and to buy things.  But they do it to raise money for events, equipment, etc.
