  1. Being sensitive to an extreme can be a bit overwhelming for the ones having to deal with it on a daily or regular basis. I know this girl that every time we talk on the phone or are around eachother, she does not stop complaining and crying about things that I dont see as being a big deal. I really dont like judging people, and so I tolerate it because I know many others wont since it becomes dramatic. I dont know if I would consider sensitive people as being selfish, but I can see the dramatic sense of it.

  2. well I'm extremely sensitive and yes i am viewed as "selfish and dramatic". i don't know why? maybe because we don't see others feelings? i tend to forget about others at times

  3. Maybe because they have been taken advantage of by so many people, because of their sensitivity,.  a lot of people are predators. even people you would not expect,,,, only to get something,,,,

  4. because most people think sensitive is equivalent to emotional self absorption hence why they get 'hurt' easily (they analyze too much).

  5. Because they are trouble makers who make mountains out of mole hills. A little remark can become something they would become violent over and then they deserve no sympathy. They need to live with themselves only and casted out of the society they find so offensive.

  6. You have to ask yourself a tough question. Are you sensitive or self absorbed? The best way to deal with that sort of thing is to look outside yourself. Help others, make connections.

  7. They probably don't unless their sensitivity is spilling over on other people via crying over everything or having strong obvious reactions to little things, that can really get annoying..

If that is the norm. they probably are also selfish and over dramatic as well as being sensitive..
