Why are service people in retail stores are so darn rude?

Okay, we spent our money in their stores. Right?

We want the best for our money so we shop wisely.

But when they make a mistake, and we pointing it out to them even if it is concerned a Gymn membership, they get bitchy all the way. And wanting to sue you cause you want out of the contract early, cause you have an reasonable excuse because of poor health. So why is it that they think they are above us and must treat us badly even so we are in the right?

Gyms are that way.  Get a note from your doctor saying you can't use excercise equipment and tell them where they can shove it.

it's pretty hard to get out of a contract without getting treated poorly.  as for general customer service, it depends where you go.  start making a point not to shop or spend your money at places where folks treat you bad.  also it varies from city to city, some are worse than others.  sorry you are having trouble with the gym, but they are in their rights too, if you signed a contract.  hopefully you will get out of it with as little financial damage as possible.  and never go there again!  also tell all your friends how much they suck to stop other folks from going there.  after that, move on.
